It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Armstrong of Rock Spring, Georgia, born in Ringgold, Georgia, who passed away on June 21, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Jack Donald Armstrong; her daughter Rebecca "Becky" Ann Anderson; and her siblings, Karen Anita Chambers, Eddie and Jimmy Kittle.

She is survived by : her sons, Donald Edward Armstrong (Lynn) of Rome, GA, James William Armstrong of Calhoun, GA and David Wayne Armstrong (Linda) of Locust Grove, GA; and her sisters, Betty Asbury of East Ridge, TN, Charleen Jacks of Ooltewah, TN and Debbie Collins of LaFayette, GA. She is also survived by three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Homes - LaFayette Chapel (1779 N Main St, LaFayette, GA 30728). A funeral service was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
