She was predeceased by : her parents, William Oscar and Mary Ethel Reasonover Daniel; and her husband Bernard L. Champion. She is survived by : her sons, Terry Champion (Lana) of Rock Spring, Steve Champion (Vickie) of Chattanooga and Tracy Champion (Kristy) of Rock Spring; and her brother William O. Daniel Jr. of Ft. Oglethorpe. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Hospital or Wounded Warriors.
