It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rodney Arthel Hollingsworth of Rock Spring, Georgia, who passed away on July 13, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Arthel and Valeria Ola Hogue Hollingsworth; his wife Jimmie Carol Brown Hollingsworth; and his brothers, Larry and Maxie Hollingsworth.
He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Kilgore (Thomas) of Cleveland, TN and Bill Hollingsworth (Cindy) of Rock Spring; his siblings, Sandra Autry of Atlanta, GA, Dennis Hollingsworth (Pat) of Fort Oglethorpe, GA and Stan Hollingsworth (Brenda) of LaFayette, GA; and his grandchildren, Samantha Burns, Rick Burns (Laurie), Jon Hollingsworth (Jessica) and Jason Hollingsworth (Lauren). He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews.
