He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Cooper and Frances Cooper; and his siblings, David Cooper and Marcheta Penland. He is survived by: his wife Carla Drennan Cooper; his children, Eddie Cooper (Shawna) and Robin Cooper Whittaker; his sister Susan Patrick (Denny); his grandson Jerrod Cooper; and his sister-in-law Janet Cooper. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
