He is survived by: his wife Virginia Ann Waters Chasteen of Rock Spring, GA; his children, Angie Burgess (Greg) of Ringgold, GA, Perry Chasteen of Rock Spring, GA, Beth Harold of Ringgold, GA and Kelly Chasteen of Rock Spring, GA; his sister Mary Naomi Lowery (Charles) of Ringgold, GA; his grandchildren, Logann Porter (Patrick), Jordan Burgess (Olivia), Eli Burgess, Landon Harold and Luke Harold; his great grandchildren, Paxtyn and Connor Porter; and his friends, Carroll Allen, Kris Taivalkoski, David Hammontree, Don Fowler, Willie Jones and Fred Dowdy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Homes - LaFayette Chapel (1779 N Main St, LaFayette, GA 30728). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
