He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ann Kettle Armstrong of Rock Spring, GA; his sons, Donald Edward Armstrong (Lynn) of Rome, GA, James William Armstrong of Calhoun, GA and David Wayne Armstrong (Linda) of Locust Grove, GA; and his sister Linda Gale Rickett of Reseca, GA. He is also survived by three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
