It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Ann Hill of Rock Spring, Georgia, who passed away on March 13, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dorothy Ann Hill to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin Tyler and Bessie Tyler; her husband Walter Hill Jr.; and her brothers, Billy Tyler and Edward Tyler.
She is survived by: her son Guy Hill (Kaye); her sisters, Avanelle Skelton and Essie Schewe (Jim); her sister-in-law Virginia Tyler; her grandchildren, Bryan Hill and Amanda Clark (Greg); and her great grandchildren, Georgia Hill, Tristan Clark and Kevin Hill.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lane Funeral Home - South Crest Chapel (833 Chickamauga Ave, Rossville, GA 30741). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First Baptist Church of Lakeview Building Fund at 10 Hudson Street Rossville, Georgia 30741.
