With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lawrence Whittington of Rochelle, Georgia, born in McRae, Georgia, who passed away on January 6, 2021 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Lawrence Whittington and Elise McCranie Barnett; his wife Debbie Gilbert Whittington; his grandparents, Andrew and Ruby Jump McCranie; his daughters, Shelly Jones and Andrea Whittington; his sister Rhonda W. Adams; and his aunts, Donnie M. Gunn and Ruth M. Lightbourne.
He is survived by: his son Jason Sapp; his son-in-law Edd Jones; his daughter Tonya Whittington; his brother David Whittington (Lisa); his stepsiblings, Carey Barnett (Robin) and Lisa Lewis (Jerry); his grandchildren, Blake Whittington (Rachel), Sean Stephens, Elaine Whittington, Kyle Jones, Kelsey Howell (Michael), Cam Sapp, Cade Sapp and Cayson Sapp; and his great grandchildren, Zoey Stephens, Sam Whittington and Addi Whittington.
