It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Daniel Sutton of Rochelle, Georgia, who passed away on December 14, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thurman Sutton and Gussie Maddox Sutton; and his brothers, George Sutton of Rochelle and Ralph Sutton of Rochelle. He is survived by: his wife Martha Jean Elrod Sutton; his children, Danny (Pam Sutton) of Rochelle and Dixie (Marion Lightfoot) of Tifton; his grandchildren, Garrett Lightfoot (Joanna Lightfoot) of Tifton, Whitney Ensley (Reid Ensley) of Tifton and Cassie Sutton of Athens; his great grandchildren, Caleb Eubanks, Iva Ensley, Brynn Lightfoot and Archer Ensley; and his siblings, Clarice S. Morrison of Rochelle and Clifford Sutton (Beth) of Roswell.
