She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry and Opal White Tomberlin; her husband James W. Hawkins; her children, Nancy Hawkins and Tommy Hawkins; and her siblings, Robert Tomberlin, Bill Tomberlin, John W. Tomberlin and Mayme Jane Duvall.
She is survived by: her children, Danny Hawkins (Wanda), Billy Hawkins (Patsy), Mark Hawkins (Renee) and Cathy Sangster (Wayne); her grandchildren, Niesi Ashe (Jamie), Kim Wilson (Clay), Chad Hawkins (Rebekah), Amanda McDonald (B. J.), Shelby Blaschka (Bryce), Whitney Sangster (Jacob Loper), Steven Hawkins (Leslie), Avery, Ellee, Willow Hawkins, Camden, Weston, Emersyn Ashe, Marley, Myles Wilson, Adalyn Loper, Addison, Macie James McDonald, Andi and Wyatt Hawkins; and her siblings, Betty Bex, Helon Love, Mary Emma Tomberlin and Bruce Tomberlin (Nita). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Frazier and Son Funeral Home (1016 4th Ave, Rochelle, GA 31079). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (701 Gordon St, Rochelle, GA 31079).
The family has requested that donations be made to Friends of Morningside Cemetery, P. O. Box 156, Rochelle, Ga. 31079 .
