He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Yancey Carter and Eula Mae Tidwell Carter; his wife Elaine Carter; his daughter Rhonda; his son-in-law Paul King; his granddaughters, Sabrina and Olivia King; and his sisters, Leila Jo Pounders of Ole Town, Florida and Lenia O'Briant (Billy) of Ole Town, Florida. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews.
