She was predeceased by: her former husband John Barrett Hawkins; her parents, Charles Henry Patterson and Gladys Knight Patterson; and her siblings, Mack Patterson, Donald Patterson, Harrell Patterson, Ralph Patterson, Charles Patterson, Tyrone Patterson and Nell Newman.
She is survived by: her husband JB; her children, Dr. Jennifer Hawkins Allen (Bruce) of Macon, Dr. John Charles (Chuck) and Hawkins (Kathy) of Macon; her grandchildren, Dr. Lindsay Lefler (Will) of Cheyenne, WY, Greer Craig (Bryan) of Brookhaven, GA, Jean Peake (Joby) of Peachtree Corners, GA and Dr. Blake Allen of Brisbane, CA; her great grandchildren, Henry Peake, Holden Peake, Silas Peake, Gus Craig and Ford Craig; and her sister Jean Altman (Benton Phillips) of Atlanta, GA.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Roberta Baptist Church (41 McCrary Ave, Roberta, GA 31076). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
