He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Knight, Sr. and Myrtle Rebecca Riner Parrish; his wife Delores Freeman Knight; his sister Mary Bracken Bryant; and his stepfather Ralph Parrish.
He is survived by: his daughter April Louise Posey (Jamie Christopher); his grandchildren, Bailey Grace Wimberly, Katelyn Marie Posey, Bristol Hope Posey and Rowan Brooks Mead Posey; and his siblings, Rose Weaver, Gloria Hamlin and Chris Parrish.
