He was predeceased by: his siblings, Troy, Charlie, Dennis and Phoebie Posey. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Haynes Joiner; his children, Jerry Joiner (Debbie) of Cartersville and Melissa Whitley (Jimmy) of Acworth; his grandchildren, Coda, Dillon and Hannah; his sister Earlene Chapman (Tim) of Byron; his great grandchild Robbie; and his sisters-in-law, Virginia Joiner of Byron, Effie Armistead (Ken) and Virginia Ann Wilkes. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
