He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Moncrief and Jennie Bell Cochran Moncrief; his wife Virginia Moncrief; and his siblings, Henry Moncrief, Clarence Moncrief and Hilda Dean Dukes.
He is survived by: his children, Johnny Moncrief (Sherri) of Roberta, Penny Powell (Payton) and Lynn Moncrief of Roberta; and his grandchildren, Donald Holder, II, Amanda Moncrief, Joshua Moncrief, Mindy Harris, Trevor Moncrief, Niki Evans and Madison Powell. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
