She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert E. Bankston and Mary McGee Bankston; her husband Winston Brown; and her brother-in-law Jim Layton. She is survived by: her children, Stephanie Baggarley (Eric) and Scott Pierson (Kate); her grandchildren, Hailey Pierson, Hannah Pierson and Lance Baggarley; her sister Mary Layton; her stepchildren, Win Brown (Wanda), Stephen Brown and Meg Compere (David); and her sister-in-law Mary Ellen Brooke (Robert).
