It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jessie Chadrick Johnson of Riverdale, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on February 19, 2023, at the age of 34, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandfather Jessie Johnson. He is survived by: his parent Candice Johnson of Riverdale, Georgia; his grandmother Lena Perkins Johnson of Montezuma, Georgia; his children, Lyrik, Jada, Zacobie, Telicia and Santana; his siblings, Tevin Johnson (Terena) of Lithonia, Najee Johnson of North Carolina and Jymaria Johnson of Riverdale, Georgia; his aunt Shaxda Flythe (Daniel Little) of Flint, Michigan; his cousin Celena Flythe of Flint, Michigan; his uncles, Reverend Joe Johnson, Jr. of Waycross and Booker Daniels of Tallahassee, Florida; his niece Tameya Johnson of Lithonia, Georgia; and his great-uncles and great-aunts, Lillian Perkins Butler of Decatur, Claude Perkins of Riverdale, Richard Perkins, Meredith Hodo, Bruce Palmer of Montezuma, Ernest Perkins, Sr. (Sharon), Jackie Palmer of Atlanta, Janet Taylor (John) of Rochester and Josephine Duman of Griffin, Georgia. He is also survived by loving cousins, other relatives and friends.
