He was predeceased by: his mother Daisy Eller Dockins; his wife Virginia Faye Ramey Dockins; and his stepfather Fred O'Shields. He is survived by: his children, Buster (Kytha Dockins), Dianne Wilson, Kenny (Susan Dockins) and Jack (Nancy Dockins); his half-siblings, Frannie Hughes and Donnie Smith; and also Troy Hall. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
