It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elsie S. Byrd of Riverdale, Georgia, who passed away on November 25, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Elsie S. Byrd to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vivencio Sapico and Clara Sapico; her husband Mack Byrd; and her siblings, David, Napoleon, Esther, Araceli and Edna.
She is survived by: her children, Lena Mitchell (Philip Mitchell) and John Byrd (Mathilde Byrd); her grandchildren, Malachi, Abigail and Josiah Mitchell; and her siblings, Nellie Garabato, Luz Bonnin and Orestes Sapico. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Horis A. Ward - Fairview Chapel (376 Fairview Rd, Stockbridge, GA 30281).
