He was predeceased by: his wife Pamela McDonald Ellis; and his parents, Willie Ellis and Ruby Roberts Ellis. He is survived by: his children, Leabertia Kent (Jeff) and Frazier Ellis; his siblings, Pat Cookston (Jay) and Gary Ellis (Gigi); his grandchildren, Trinity Higgins, Kelvin Ellis and Wyatt Kent; and his great grandchild Lillith Higgins. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
