She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. D. L. Johnson and Mamie Neocia Brannon Johnson; her son Anthony Lee "Tony" Troxtel; her sister Betty Ross; and her parents-in-law, Bill and Fannie Tallent.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Gary Tallent; her daughter Kimberly Neocia Buffington (Steve); her granddaughters, Sara Neocia Buffington (Clinton) and Bonnie Buffington (Nathan); her siblings, Robert Johnson (Myra) and Charlotte Lynn; and her great grandchildren, Logan and Colin Hawkins.
