She was predeceased by: her parents, Lowe Smith and Jessie Borrows Smith; her husband Robert Edward Chastain; her children, Kathleen Roberta McGee and Kenneth Ray Chastain; and her siblings, Carl G. Smith, Harold "Jack" Smith, Barbara Smith and Cecil Smith.
She is survived by: her son Lebron Chastain; her siblings, Patsy Marrow, Nolan Smith and Donald Smith; her grandchildren, Tracey McGee, Daniel Chastain, Brandon McGee and Melissa McDonald; and her great grandchildren, Landon, Callie, Graham and Carson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the W. L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Homes - Fort Oglethorpe Chapel (555 W Cloud Springs Rd, Rossville, GA 30741). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
