He is survived by: his spouse Ruth Mathews; his sister Joyce Smith (Jerry); his sister-in-law Marcie Mathews; and his brother Herbert Mathews (Rachel). He is also survived by three grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
