In loving memory of Kenneth Pennington (Rising Fawn, Georgia), who departed this world on December 11, 2024 at the age of 82. Kenneth leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Robert and Eda Boatman; his parents, Herschel Pennington and Evelyn Moore Pennington; and his brother James Peck Pennington.
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca McMahan Pennington; his children, Kamille Pennington Crowley (Aaron), Rachel Pennington Smith (Marshall) and Joseph Driggs Pennington (Tina); his grandchildren, Brooke Smith Brumelow, Cain Smith (Ashley) and Jonah Driggs Pennington; and his great grandchildren, Sadie Rose Smith, Sawyer Smith, Delilah Ruth Brumelow and Declan Brumelow.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the New Salem Baptist Church (541 Scenic Hwy, Rising Fawn, GA 30738).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made out to Hawkins Cemetery (C/O Sharon Bradford: 12288 HWY 136, Rising Fawn, GA 30738) or to the Trenton American Legion Post 106 (P.O. Box 305, Trenton, GA 30752).
