He was predeceased by: his parents, John Morris, Sr. and Ivauline Painter; and his brothers, Rusty Painter and Carl Painter. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Taylor Morris; his children, John H. Morris, III (Lisa Michelle), Jerry Morris (Amanda) and Donna Capps (Bob); his brother Donald Painter (Cathy); and his grandchildren, Matthew Capps, Sarah Capps, Kayla Morris and Gabriel Morris. He is also survived by numerous extended family & friends.
