It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Gidden (Rising Fawn, Georgia), born in Scottsboro, Alabama, who passed away on April 8, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Anita Gidden; his parents, H. B. Giddens and Pearl L. Giddens; and his siblings, Charles Giddens and Edith Stark.
He is survived by: his daughters, Brenda E. Wallin and Christy Gidden; his granddaughters, Stephanie Hixson and Heather Bennett (Lance); his great grandchild Kamdyn Bennett; his siblings, Elmo Giddens, Jack Gidden (Estella), Ann Giddens and Gary Giddens; and his close friend Dana Cochran. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
