He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur P. Rich and Martha Chapman Rich; his former wife Geraldine Rich; his children, Kenneth David Rich and Paula Rich; and his siblings, Ernest Rich, Jim Rich, Paul Rich, Johnny Rich, J. T. Rich, Annie Lee Curent, Emmie Schrader and Maggie Mae Rich.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Rich; and his children, Jamey Rich and Pamela Rich Justice. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
