It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arwin Lucile Yates (Rising Fawn, Georgia), who passed away on March 15, 2019, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband T. W. Yates; her parents, Lawrence Cole and Gertrude Cole King; and her sisters, Gertrude Trew, Margaret Hamilton and Ruth Dobbs.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Yates (Pat) of Rincon, GA, Jerry Yates (Imogene) of Phenix City, AL, Lucile Keown (Larry) of Snellville, GA, Carol Bruce (John) of Rising Fawn, GA and Mary Henegar (Jerry) of Flat Rock, AL. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
