He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Marion Butts and Ola Pearl Marsh Butts; his wife Sarah Ellen McCartha Walker; his great great grandchild Nolann Erazo; and his siblings, Barbara Ann Butts Sewell, Billy M. Butts, Jesse J. Butts and Donald Ray Walker.
He is survived by: his children, Angel Mayfield, Marquita Dooley (Tom) and Bryan Walker (Judy); and his sister Linda Worley (Thomas). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Harbor Foundation or plant a tree in his memory.
