He is survived by: his wife Anita McCrary Whittemore; his children, Dustin Whittemore (Christy), Brandon Whittemore and Tiffany Poteet (Todd); his grandchildren, Payton and Nolan Poteet; and his siblings, Ronald Whittemore, Linda Green and Rosa Bishop. He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews and in-laws.
