“I am Ross's 1st cousin--born and raised in Dixon, Ill. He lived in Sterling--only about 10 miles away. The last I saw Ross was when my husband and I stopped to see him at the funeral home in Sterling in the late 1980s/early 1990s. I made several attempts to contact him when I learned he was in the Chattanooga area but was not successful. My brother Bud was just a year younger than Ross; I was about 3 years younger. We were very close as children and I am very sorry to hear he has passed.”
