He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond McWhorter and Nallye Faye McWhorter; his sister Bobbie Bell; his great grandchild Caroline Gass; and his mother-in-law Louise Boyd.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy McWhorter; his children, Angela Williams (Barry), Kelly Phillips (Shane), Scott McWhorter (Stephanie) and Jeffrey McWhorter; and his sister Sue Thomason (Joe). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren.
