It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Franklin Silvers of Ringgold, Georgia, who passed away on June 6, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Talmadge Silvers and Lottie Silvers; his wife Barbara "Bobbie" Silvers; and his brothers, Eugene Silvers, Richard Silvers and Jackie Silvers.
He is survived by: his sisters, Billie Petty, Martha Denton and Nina Mattox; his children, Robert "Tyson" Silvers (Amy) and Mary Alice Denton (Mike); his sister Jane Frye (Chuck); his sister-in-law Imogene Phillips; his granddaughters, Janice Hollis and Suzanna Mansi; his great grandchildren, Jennifer Warnack, Zackery Hollis and Samuel Mansi; and his great great grandchild Micah Hollis Painter. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
