He was predeceased by: his parents, W. L. Poole and Thelma "Doss" Poole; and his brother Roy Poole. He is survived by: his wife Ann "Ledbetter" Poole; his daughter Teresa "Poole" McDaniel; his stepchildren, Roy Haddock (Connie) and Jenice Partin; his sisters, Barbara Roy and Annette Carlisle (Randy); his grandchildren, Harlley, Alex McDaniel, Heather Taylor and Logan Partin; and his great grandchildren, Cohen, Madilyn Widner, Rhett McDaniel, Oaklyn Taylor and Jayce Partin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the Ronald McDonald House in Chattanooga.
