He was predeceased by: his parents, Winfred Johnson and Evalee Moody Johnson; his granddaughter Oliva Ashleigh Johnson; and his sisters, Yvonne McPeak, Dorothy Lockhart and Jeralline Deweese.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara "BJ" Miller Johnson; his son Rodney; his daughter-in-law Becca Johnson; and his grandsons, Corbin Johnson and Gavin Johnson. He is also survived by extended family The Thompsons and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Homes - Ringgold Chapel (443 Boynton Dr, Ringgold, GA 30736). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
