He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Virgil Jay Sr. and Sarah Adella Lawrence Jay. He is survived by: his wife Jan Blansett Jay of Ringgold, GA.; his daughters, Lori Kimbrell (Tommy) of Chickamauga, GA. and Benita Johnson (Billy) of Ringgold, GA.; his sister Carolyn Rolen (Randy) of Ringgold, GA.; and his grandchildren, Kalei Clark, Jordan Kimbrell, Samuel Jay Johnson, Nathaniel Johnson, Brittany Wilson, Billy Johnson III and Bethany Kittle. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
