It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Oran Junior Nichols (Ringgold, Georgia), who passed away on December 5, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his former wife Alma Holland Nichols; his siblings, Pauline Williams, Bonnie Sikes of Thelma Norman, J. C, Elmer Nichols and Raymond Nichols; and his grandson Charles Edward Jeffrey III.

He is survived by: his wife Sue Ledford Nichols; his children, Tammie Jeffrey (Charles), Bruce Nichols (Connie) and Ray Nichols; his grandchildren, Hayden Nichols, Shelby Nichols, Tabitha Jeffrey and Chase Jeffrey; and his great grandchildren, Kyler Coulter Knox Ellis and Raylan Nichols. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
