He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Carter and Mary Lou Carter; and his sister Adrienne Carter Trimby. He is survived by: his wife Jerry Carter (Cofer); his children, Bambi Sturdivan (Tommy), Dirk Carter and Kimberly Hull (Del); his grandchildren, Amber Salter, Blake Walker, Shelby Carter, Jake Eaker, Dusty Manly, Val Hull and Lauren Hull; and his great grandchildren, Caleb Henderson, Carter Salter, Avery Walker, Easton Salter and MJ Manly. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
