It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Land of Ringgold, Georgia, who passed away on February 8, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Arvil Land and Ruth Sane Land; his wife Mary Hicks Land; his children, Felicia Shepherd and Tony Satterfield; his sister Georgie Ruth Smith (John); his brother-in-law Oliver Pierce; and his close friend Ray Shaw.

He is survived by: his children, Tim Land (Cindy), Mandy Land and Ronnie Shepherd (Tina); his sisters, Tempie Pierce and Janette Warnix (Jerry); his grandchildren, Maggie Shepherd, Ronnie "Speedy" Shepherd, Dallas Satterfield, Thomas Land, Caleb Land, Jacob Land and Hope Land; and his close friend Maxine Foutz. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
