He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lewis Bowman and Rosie Mae Spohn Bowman; his son Matthew Bowman; and his brothers, George and Carl Bowman.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Bowman; his daughter Michelle Watts (Carlton); his siblings, Don Bowman (Sue) and Roberta Herron (Fred); and his grandchildren, Reagan and Jack Watts.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Chattanooga (401 Gateway Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37402). A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Chattanooga National Cemetery (1800 Bailey Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404).
