He was predeceased by: his parents, Lois Touchton and Pauline Anderson; and his sister Catherine Wood. He is survived by: his wife Cecilia Touchton; and his children, Diane Heeb and James Dale Touchton. He is also survived by six grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
In 1997 and 1998, he was named Lion of the Year for his exceptional contributions to the local community, leadership, and positive impact.
