Harold Jerome Underhill Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Harold Jerome Underhill of Ringgold, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 12, 2025 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Harold Jerome Underhill to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Leighmon Underhill and Corda Reeves Underhill; and his son Michael "Mike" Underhill. He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Gravitt Underhill; his children, Velda Underhill Wallace (Bobby), Diana Underhill Carden (Charles) and Joe Underhill (Carla); his sister-in-law Charlotte Newsom; and his grandchildren, Shane Posey, Brad Posey, Denise Godschalx, Philip Wallace, Laura Tripp, Brooke Horton, James Freeman, Shaun Underhill, Chasity Layne, Brittany Stoker and Meagan Chu.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lane Funeral Home - South Crest Chapel (833 Chickamauga Ave, Rossville, GA 30741). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Brother Harold's honor to New Haven Baptist Church at 1058 Graysville Road Chattanooga, Tennessee 37421.
