He is survived by: his children, Chere Atherton (Steve) of Ringgold, Deborah Gibbens (Tom) of Gentry, Mikki Newkirk (Kiff) of Ringgold and Mark Bresee (Sharon) of Cleveland, Tennessee; and his grandchildren, Andrew Bresee, Alicia Shaver, Brent Wiseman, Chase Wiseman, Michelle Netzel, Benjamin Edwards and Lance Newkirk. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.
