She was predeceased by: her parents, Berry Bennett and Mamie Lou Bennett; her husband Charles "Sonny" Whitlow; and her brother Billy Bennett. She is survived by: her children, Cotton Whitlow (Robin) of Rock Spring and Cheryl Simmons of Reidsville, GA; and her grandchildren, Aaron Brown of Ringgold, Joe Simmons of Savannah, Laura Kain, Amber Hann of Manchester, TN and Butch Craze of Rock Spring. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home & Crematory (3239 Battlefield Pkwy, Fort Oglethorpe, GA 30742). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Heritage Funeral Home Chapel - Ft. Oglethorpe Heritage Funeral Homes Fort Oglethorpe (3239 Battlefield Pkwy, Fort Oglethorpe, GA 30742).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Graysville Cemetery Fund.
