She was predeceased by: her parents, Newt Wood and Lela Givens Wood; and her husband James "Jim" Hall Peters. She is survived by: her sons, Doug Peters (Michele) of Chattanooga, TN and Mark Peters (Deborah) of Fort Oglethorpe, GA; her grandchildren, Ben Peters (Lisa), Zack Peters (Kristen), Heather Scott (Carl) of Hixson, TN, Lauren Peters, Rachel Peters and Caylie Peters; and her great grandchildren, Camden, Ava, Maverick, Ariel, Romeo, Emi, Victoria, Graham and Jude. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
