He was predeceased by: his parents, William Arzie and Alpha Mae Givens. He is survived by: his wife Betty Ruth Atkinson (Georgia); his children, Steve Givens (Cathy) and Donna Parker (Stan Sullivan); and his grandchildren, Christopher Healey (Irene), Matthew Healey (Emily), Eric Givens (Mattie), Allison Healey (Eli Franklin), Andrew Givens (Ashley) and Carole Lea Atkinson (Neal). He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (401 Gateway Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37401). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
