She was predeceased by: her parents, John Knox Tate and Lois Allison Tate; her husband Ed; her sibling Dot Uptain; and her son-in-law Jim Floyd.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Wiencek (Ted), Jeanne Pucci (Tony), Eddie Floyd and Susan Price (Rick); and her grandchildren, Laura Larkin, Jake Holvey, Allison Floyd, Joe Holvey, Ginny Szalay, Meridith Davis and Kara Price.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home & Crematory (3239 Battlefield Pkwy, Fort Oglethorpe, GA 30742). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Heritage Funeral Home Chapel - Ft. Oglethorpe Heritage Funeral Homes Fort Oglethorpe (3239 Battlefield Pkwy, Fort Oglethorpe, GA 30742).
