He was predeceased by: his parents, Harlan "Benny" Lance and Wanda Phillips Lance; and his grandparents, Van, Ethel Lance, Lloyd and Helen Phillips.
He is survived by: his siblings, Hoyt Lance (Brenda) of Ringgold, Eddie Lance (Diane) of Kennesaw and Marlene Lance of Dalton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
