He was predeceased by: his parents, A. C. Adams and Myrtle Mae Langston Adams; his children, Karen Arleen Adams Burton and Randle Wade Adams; and his sisters, Mrytle Hollaway and Mary Jane Adams.
He is survived by: his wife Katie Rene Thomas Adams; his children, Alvin Adams III of Ringgold, GA, Ken Adams (Tonarra) of Ringgold, GA, Scott Adams (Denise) of Cohutta, GA and Devon Thomas (Crystal) of Ft. Oglethorpe; his sisters, Janie Boykin, Marie Moore and Gaddie Blanks (Ricky); his brother-in-law James Hollaway Sr.; and his aunts, Bernice Langston, Doris Langston and Betty Langston. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mt. Peria Baptist Church (341 Sparks St, Ringgold, GA 30736). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
