She was predeceased by: her parents, F. Harold Evans and Emma A. Spiegel; her husband Charles K. DiSalvo; and her brother Frank Evans. She is survived by: her children, Dr. Jennifer Shoenfelt, Karl DiSalvo (Wendy), Debra Thomas (Hal) and Kevin DiSalvo (Amanda); her grandchildren, Michael Shoenfelt, Stephanie Cloos, Alyssa Elliott, Kaleigh Slivoskey, Morgan Thomas, Makenzie Thomas, Caden DiSalvo and Caroline DiSalvo; her great grandchildren, Robert, Abigail Shoenfelt, Margaret and Emma Cloos; and her sister Marilyn Koontz. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home, Effingham Chapel (2460 GA-21, Rincon, GA 31326). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Funeral Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home, Effingham Chapel (2460 GA-21, Rincon, GA 31326).
